Empowering Rural Bangladesh for Sustainable Development
Founded in 2000, SDF is a not-for-profit organization focused on empowering rural communities and alleviating poverty in Bangladesh. Operating in 9,333 villages across 35 districts, SDF directly supports 1.85 million households through initiatives in health, education, employment, and entrepreneurship. With 96% women beneficiaries, SDF addresses 11 out of 17 SDGs, fostering sustainable socio-economic development and gender empowerment.
